BTS Dominates Billboard’s Top Songs Chart – “Butter”

BTS continue to dominate Billboard Trending Songs graphic.

In the last follow-up week as of February 26the GRAMMY nominated act topped the charts with ‘Butter‘ more than 4 million Twitter mentions – extending his reign to a total of 10 weeks at number 1.


Since its release, dance bop has set and broken numerous records, won countless awards and is considered one of the Best songs of 2021.


“Permission to Dance” also made its return to the charts after the announcement of the AUTHORIZATION TO DANCE ON STAGE concert at Seoul and Vegas.

The rest of the list is dominated by BTS members with the SUGA-produced (and co-written) track’Stay alive’ comes second. Interpreted by Jungkook, the song serves as the official soundtrack of their new webtoon 7FATES: CHAKHO and recently broke the record for most number 1s on itunes, topped the charts in 106 countries at press time.

Meanwhile, Jin’s ‘Yours,’ the official soundtrack of the hit K-drama Jirisanis at number 3. The “Abyss” act also has another entry at number 5, its unexpected viral success, ‘Super Tuna’. Since its release last December, ‘Super Tuna’ has proven to be an equal rival to “Baby Shark” spawning hundreds of child and adult dance covers, as well as Baby Shark and Pinkfong themselves, the Teletubbies, Pororo, and more. Jin’s birthday release has also been a hit in clubs these days, playing venues in New York, London and Moscow.

‘Christmas tree’ by V, the theme song of the beloved K-drama series, Our beloved summer, completes the top 10. The soundtrack was created by the famous musical director Nam Hye Seung (also behind the unforgettable OSTs of It’s okay to disagree, Crash Landing on You, Record of Youth) who had nothing but good things to say about his collaboration with Kim Taehyung, “I had V in mind for his amazing tone that matched our Kdrama show ‘Our Beloved Summer,’ so I really thank V, Kim Taehyung for ‘to have worked with us with such Talent!’

“Yes the show is definitely a great show but it was definitely possible to list it as the first OST to enter Hot 100 thanks to all your love and especially ARMY for always cheering me on and putting me always up to date on this! I don’t know every individual but we are all one and I’m just trying to show my gratitude to you all ❤ be happy and thank me for this but really thank you”, she wrote in a post on Instagram.


“Fly Away” by Dimash, “Slow Mo” by BamBam BE:FIRST’s ‘gifted,‘ and “Before 4:30 (She Said)” by Mew Suppasit and Sam Kim are still going strong in the top 10.
